Conversations with the land and one another

Ecological Education and Group Facilitation

Ecological Education

From my early beginnings as the volunteer Education Chair with the Audubon Society, my passion for environmental and ecological education was born. I went back to school to undertake a certificate program in Watershed Science and found an environmental education calling that awoke from deep within me. I have spent the last decade complementing my design work with in-person ecological education and native plant restoration projects with kids and adults, ranging from my work with the Institute for Applied Ecology coordinating and leading west-wide ecological education and native plant restoration to building up a stream ecology program with Oregon State University, guiding nearly 1000 4th and 5th grade students in macro invertebrate exploration, habitat restoration, and water quality studies over a three year period.

Group Facilitation

Through my work in facilitation and group design, I weave together our connection with the natural world with our innate desire for human connection. My approach fosters reflective dialogue and meaningful conversations that deepen our sense of belonging. By tailoring discussions to your specific needs and objectives, I create an environment where participants feel heard and engaged, leading to thoughtful insights and productive outcomes.
